| Hello all...my name is Emily. I am 22 years old and from Rhode Island. I love my little Ocean State and proud to say its my home. I have been seriously photographing for about 4 years now, but have always been intrigued by the art. I am mostly self-taught and love learning new things and experimenting. I am finishing up my Associate Degree in Studio Art and have taken a good amount of business courses as well. I will also be enrolling in the New York Institute of Photography certificate program in the spring. In the future I plan on opening my own bar/gallery to promote local art in music in Rhode Island. I am very lucky to live in a place that is so cultured and diverse in its art. I also plan on traveling to every state in the country because I feel that every one of them has something to offer. I love to be outdoors and shoot nature and wildlife, as you can tell. I also love shooting bands and live music. Nothing is better to me than combining music and my camera in one package. I am not a fan of shooting portrait and wedding photography although I will do it on occasion for a friend. I respect it, its just not something I prefer to do on a regular basis as I get bored easily with it. I love meeting new people on here and seeing others' work. It helps to inspire me and let me in on a little piece of someone else's life. I really appreciate constructive criticism. If you add one of my photos, try and tell me why you like it, and vice versa if you don't like it. Criticism is what helps me develop and grow as a photographer.
